Winemaker: Dan Goldfield, Gerry Rowland, Philippe Melka

Our American wines are made from some of the top winemakers in California, and the world-- Dan Goldfield, Gerry Rowland, and Philippe Melka. Dan Goldfield, who has also worked under the brands La Crema and Dutton-Goldfield, produces our Russian River Valley Chardonnay "Dylan" and Zinfandel "Hugo". He also crafts our top-selling wine, "Jasper", a Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Gerry Rowland (Stag's Leap, Chappelet) is the winemaker for our outstanding Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon, "Midnight Rambler", named after Rowland who walks the vineyards at night checking the ripeness and condition of the grapes. Philippe Melka, the winemaker for "Soluna", our opulent, seductive Cabernet Sauvignon, perfected his winemaking techniques under the guidance of winemakers at Haut-Brion, Badia o Coltibuono, and Petrus before producing top-quality wines in Napa (such as Quintessa and our 'Soluna').
