At Stony Hill we have focused on crafting long-lived white wines from hillside vineyards, using no malolactic fermentation and minimal oak influence. In short we have taken the road less traveled. And we think, with remarkable success. Each of our wines derives from our forty acres of dry farmed vineyards on Spring Mountain. The mature vines and stressful growing conditions combine to produce low yields of intensely flavored grapes. While each wine possesses it own varietal character, Stony Hill’s signature flinty quality is present in all.
