KEN ZINNS
Ken Zinns is a San Francisco native with a passion for wine. An architect by training, Ken started becoming more serious about wine in the early '90s after taking a few local wine appreciation courses. Wanting to learn more about wine, Ken began volunteering as a cellar rat at local wineries in 2001. After some classes at UC Davis and long hours on the crushpad and in the cellar, he has become assistant winemaker for Eno Wines in Berkeley and Harrington Wine in San Francisco.
In addition to making wine, Ken loves to visit wineries and vineyards throughout California. Since early 2006, he's contributed touring notes for many California wine regions to Eric Anderson's Grape-Nutz.com website, with a special focus on wineries and vineyards of the Central Coast. In addition to wine touring notes Ken has also written wine book reviews and tasting notes from major wine events for Grape-Nutz.com.
