Phil Ward has been involved with the food and wine business for over 30 years. He was a classically trained chef and worked in France, Pennsylvania and Virginia for 10 years.
For the past 20+ years, Phil has been selling and marketing wines and is currently East Coast Sales Director for Bernard Magrez Grands Vignobles. He is the author of two books, Home Brew and The Home Winemaker's Handbook. Phil has also been the monthly wine columnist for Nouveau Magazine of New Hope, PA for 10 years. Since March 2006, he has been the monthly wine columnist for Garden Plate (Food and Drink at every exit), which focuses on the interconnection of agriculture, dining, food and wine in the state of New Jersey.
Phil and his wife live in the bucolic part of New Jersey.
